Where to start…
When deciding about styling newborn sessions and what colors and props to pull, I always start with the questionnaire. I send out the questionnaire once the due date is booked. My recommendation is to think of the nursery and what colors would go well with what is in there, as well as any other spaces in the home you may display the images. I always try to pick out at least one neutral set up, this way you can hang it in your home for years to come!
My style is a simple, less is more approach to really make the baby shine! I tend to pick monochromatic props and blankets so we don’t distract too much from the star of the show!

What do I provide for styling newborn sessions?
The answer to this question is simple, I provide everything but the baby!! I have a ton of good stuff for babies, hats, headbands, baskets, buckets, and blankets. I’m always so happy when people bring along an item that might be sentimental though, so if you have something please bring it! Parent shots it is recommended to also bring a shirt for dad, dress or tank for mom and something for the siblings. I do have pretty little dresses for siblings which you are welcome to use!
Parent and Siblings…
For parents and siblings as stated above I recommend a simple neutral shirt for dad, neutral dress or tank/shirt for mom and something simple for the siblings. Our focus is on the baby so it is the one and only time I would suggest the family be matchy, matchy. Here are some examples of what some family shots!
